What Is Permanent Installation?
Typically, casing conveyed as part of the drilling process these are cemented in place fiber optic systems which contain many elements including DAS/DTS/DSS and PT gauge ported to the inside of casing for real-time monitoring. They are strapped to the casing during RIH with minimal or zero change to normal running procedures. Proven protection is used to to ensure cable integrity in long laterals.
Advanced Monitoring for Unconventional Wells
Popular in unconventional wells for frac monitoring, these systems have also gained strong traction for wellbore-integrity surveillance (including CCSU / H₂ wells), micro-seismic characterisation, and monitoring of storage-cavern wells. WnW supplies industry proven hardware to provide a second to none installation from float shoe to wellhead for unconventional wells through to cavern monitoring wells and beyond into higher demanding environments such a geothermal applications where temperatures preclude electronics. Long laterals are readily accommodated.
